A bit much on one end as being simple with artillery distroying some much, but then that is minor because if the wall is down, it really doesn't matter how much, your going in. The King Crusade is a highly tactical game where you need to have a few looses as possible. The faction mechanic makes it intersting to side since there're bonuses to get at the end. Be careful though, each factions on a same battle field don't mean they will give you the same difficulty.Buy this game cheap, it's quite short, the crusaders become really strong, really fast. and the game will end quickly enough. If you play your card wisely, you will mostly stomp everything but it doesn't mean you should rush in since being dumb is really costing.Graphic are not too bad, not great, but nothing horrible, this game is quite simple in mechanics and is explained in a good way. For the perfectionnist, there's also a loot and upgrade mechanic where you can give your most loved units an unstoppable force.Short, but intersting.. WARNING DO NOT PURCHASE!!!The game seems cool and like a lot of fun but i just can't seem to get it to work n matter what.I have spent the last 2 days looking for a solution and haven't been able to play the game because each time i try to start the first mission the game crashes with a "this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way" error message i have tried to play the game with different resolution and graphics settings DIDNT WORK.Tried with running the game as administrator with and without all the different compatibility modes DIDNT WORK.Tried uninstalling/installing different Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable versions because someone said that he got the game to work by uninstalling all the other versions he had and keeping just that one version DIDNT WORK FOR ME.(SLIGHT UPDATE)Restarted my pc and decided to have one last try at the game and decided to try the "run in 640 x 480 screen resolution" option at the compatibility tab and with that i am able to start the first mission but it is so laggy in it that the game is unplayable and looks horrendous which keeps this review as a NEGATIVE REVIEW.(UPDATE TO MY UPDATE)Tried to start the game again in 640x480 and now i get the same error as i did originallysoooooooooo...... Do not buy, peace : ). Got his game for free... A very beatifull and epic game with cool maps and good story. BUT... i don't recommand this game to starting strategy-gamers. It is not very easy (singleplayers, upgrading troops, unique items,..) If you're a starter, begin with the total war games. That should make you better in strategy! ;-)
